How Pistol Works

Light Gun (in this case Revolver) is a tool used to shoot projectiles at any target we want, in terms of physic, this tool uses a spring force. This Weapon main components consist of :

Hammer or Striker : Functioning to launch Projectile
Barrel : Make a bullet sped straight
Trigger : To control the Moment of Fire

All that components were useful only to support Firing Mechanism of Projectiles. While Projectiles is a part of projectiles system, operated according to Kinematics and Hydrodynamics gasses. Construction of Cartridge consists of:

1. Bullet
Made of solid metal (usually tin) functioning as the main projectiles.

2. Case/Shell
Functioning as case/shell of the projectiles.

3. Propleant
As a hurler of bullet. The First technology applied using a Black Powder caontaining 55% gas and 45% smoke. But when Smokeless Powder was found by Paul Vielle in 1884, Black Powder was not used anymore.

3. Primer
Metal Compounds which are very sensitive, usefull to putting out flames caused by gunpowder.

When the trigger is pressed, the hammer will be drawn backward. The spring, which is planted in the handle of pistol, will push hammer forward, and hit the Primer.

The blow had caused gunpowder to explode and create a high pressure gas in the projectile. This high pressure gas, which forced Bullet thrown from the shell and shot through the barrel of the gun.

Although it looks simple, but required a very high accuracy in assembling the weapon. Just a little mistake can be fatal.
